• The 30% deposit of the commission price is non-refundable.

• The remaining payment is to be made upon completion of the commission. The Client will be sent an image of the commission when it is completed and asked to pay the remaining balance within 30 days. After the balance has been paid, the commission will either be posted or local collection can be arranged.

• The Client retains the right to decide they no longer want the artwork before the final balance is paid. However, if the Client decides that they no longer want the artwork and/or do not pay the remaining balance within 30 days, the Artist reserves the right to sell the artwork. In all cases, the deposit remains non-refundable.

• Copyright of the artwork is retained by the Artist.

• The Artist will be able to use images of the artwork on their social media and website.

• If the commission is intended to be a gift it is requested that the Client lets the Artist know – in these circumstances, images of the commission will not be used for social media and website purposes until after the Client has given the artwork to its recipient. (An exception to this would be if the Client decided they no longer wanted the artwork and/or did not pay the remaining cost within 30 days of the completion of the commission)

• Images provided by the Client for drawing references must be clear, high-quality images.

• The Client does not need to sign any documents for these terms and commissions to apply - paying the deposit confirms agreement.
